Understanding your daily totals

Green · Goal met

Within your range, at or above your minimum, or at or below your maximum.

Gold · Below minimum

Below the minimum or lower end of your daily goal.

Red · Above maximum

Displayed total is above your maximum. An asterisk means the total is incomplete and may change.

Blue · Incomplete information

Some nutrition values are missing or do not include ingredient changes. Goal status cannot be confirmed. Over-limit displayed totals still appear red.

Gray · Unfilled bar

The background behind the colored amount. Tracking-only nutrients have no goal comparison, so their bars stay gray.

* marks incomplete nutrition information. A displayed 0 with * may mean unknown, not zero. Bar length shows the recorded amount relative to your goal; the number shows the actual total.

Tip: drag a meal to another slot, or use the ⋯ menu to copy, move, change portions, or remove it. On smaller screens, scroll sideways to view more days.

How your daily goals work

Choose how each nutrient is compared with your daily total in the Meal Planner and Nutrition tabs.

Tracking only

Records the amount without setting a target. No amount is judged too low or too high.

Gray bar · No goal comparison

Example: track sodium without setting a limit.

Minimum

Set the lowest amount you want to reach. There is no upper limit.

Gold below your minimum · Green at or above it.

Example: fiber minimum 25 g. 20 g is gold; 25 g or more is green.

Maximum

Set the highest amount you want to stay within. There is no lower target.

Green at or below your maximum · Red above it.

Example: added sugar maximum 25 g. 20 g is green; 30 g is red.

Range

Set both a minimum and a maximum. The endpoints count as within your goal.

Gold below · Green within · Red above.

Example: calories 1,600–1,800. 1,500 is gold; 1,700 is green; 1,900 is red.

Blue + an asterisk (*) means incomplete nutrition. Some recipe values are missing or ingredient changes are not fully reflected. A goal may not be confirmed. If the displayed total already exceeds a maximum, it stays red. Tracking-only bars remain unfilled because there is no target to measure against.

Bar length shows progress toward the target; a full bar does not always mean the goal is met. Use the color and displayed amount together. Gray behind a colored bar is the unfilled portion.
